Bishops, Imams, NRM & FDC MPs named in Mbabazi Task Force
Bishops, Imams, National Resistance Movement (NRM) and Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Members of Parliament were among those named in Go Forward campaign task force.
Among those named in the Task force include FDC vice-president Kassiano Wadri who is also Terego County MP, Imam Kasozi, Bishop Samwiri Wabulakha, Bishop Obaikol and other religious leaders
While unveiling the policy and operational task forces, Independent presidential candidate who doubles as Go Forward candidate Amama Mbabazi said there is a need for leadership with the necessary strategy, tactics and organization to guarantee victory.
He said that is the “job of his National Campaign Team and National Task Force.”
Mbabazi also said TDA/Go Forward has fielded candidates at all levels.
“Go Forward alone has 297 candidates at Member of Parliament level. Combine this with all TDA partners and they are 345 candidates at Member of Parliament level.”
He added “we as a united effort have 720 candidates who are vying for LC5 chairperson as well as LC5 councilor level. We have an additional 1400 LC3 Councilors who are part of the alliance.”
