Uganda’s reining El Niño and rear queen Desire Luzinda has accused Uganda police cops of squeezing her boobs at Entebbe International airport as she returned from Congo a few weeks ago.

Ndejje University’s Thomas Rono will be one of the star names at the EA meet

In a complaint filed through her lawyer Isaac Semakadde of Centre for legal aid, Desire Luzinda reveals that soon after her arrest on 21/02/2015 at the airport the police detectives identified as Rose Nabakooza and Nyakato dragged her into their office and squeezed her boobs.

“I was shocked, dismayed and embarrassed to discover that the duo had conspired to violet my fundamental human rights enshrined in articles 29(2), 23(1), 24, 28, 42, and 44of the 1995 constitution by issuing orders

to Airport Police and immigrations authorities purporting to “blacklist” me calling for my immediate arrest and detention in case I am leaving or returning to the country and also impounding my passport” Said Desire in her plant.

Luzinda affirms that it was as a result of the duo’s Shenanigans that she was arrested and detained at the Airport Police on the 21/02/2015 for close to five hours under the pretext of orders from above.

When contacted, ACP Alfred Ojinga the in charge Commercial and Transnational Crime at SIU expressed disbelief at the actions of the duo and vowed to reprimand them before he swiftly apologized on behalf of the force.

He explained that although Police certainly wanted Luzinda to assist them with the ongoing investigations, nothing could justify the blatant abuse of police powers by Rose Nabakooza and Nyakato.

Luzinda did not receive any apology from either Nabakooza or Nyakato and she is extremely concerned that the so called blacklisting letter has not been recalled and or/ cancelled by the relevant authorities.

Luzinda is now unsure whether she is at liberty to enjoy her article 29(b) right to enter, leave and return to Uganda.
