Uganda Cranes Fans celebrate

With almost eight years since Uganda Cranes last played Nigeria’s Super Eagles, the two sides are to meet again in an International friendly match on the March 25, at the AkwaIbom International stadium in Lagos.

Edgar Watson the Federation CEO confirmed this yesterday

“I take the pleasure to announce that the senior Uganda Cranes team will be playing a friendly match against Nigeria next week,” confirmed Watson

Nigeria had scheduled the date to host South American side Bolivia who announced their cancellation from the fixture claiming that there is political insurgence in Nigeria from Boko Haram.

Uganda registered a 1-0 loss in Abeokuta and secured a 2-1win at Namboole in their last meeting against the Super Eagles..

Cranes Coach Micho Sredojevic has lined up a 25 man squad to feature in the Friendly.
