The Directorate of Public Prosecution has slapped murder charges on Mathew Kanyamunyu in connection to the shootings of Kenneth Akena.

Others in connection to this case are; his Burundian girlfriend Cynthia Munwangari and his two brothers Joseph Kanyamunyu and Moses Kanyamunyu.

Prosecution states that on November 12 while at Game Stores, Kanyamunyu allegedly shot Akena whom he accused of scratching his car, and drove him to the hospital where he died after a little while.

His brothers are held to help in investigation after telephone printouts indicated that they were contacted by Kanyamunyu a few minutes after the incident.

However, as the hearing of the case starts, police is still investigating the circumstances under which the killer gun was ditched to unknown place and no blood spots were found at the crime scene.
