Ugandans are anxiously waiting to see which teams Uganda Cranes will battle with during the 2017 AFCON competitions in Gabon.

The draws for the AFCON 2017 will take place at 8:30pm tonight in Libreville, Gabon.

Uganda has been represented by Coach Micho Sredojevic and Sports Commissioner in the ministry of education, Omara Apitta.

FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein confirmed Micho and Apitta, who flew out on Monday evening, will be present at the event.

It will be the first time in 38 years for Uganda to participate in such an event, having last appeared in the competition in 1978.

Coach Micho says; “We are now among the very best in Africa, and we are ready for everyone that will be drawn against us.”
