Massa Set For Pretoria Debut
University of Pretoria’s acquisition Geoffrey Massa is set to make his debut for the club when they face Bloemfontein Celtic in a Premier Soccer League encounter Saturday afternoon.
The Ugandan international striker has received clearance by the PSL and us thus eligible to feature for the University club.
Coach Steve Barker is hopeful that Massa hits the ground running and proves to be a great signing for a team who failed to hit the back of the net in their first two games of the campaign.
The 27-year old Massa formally played for Jomo Cosmos in the 2008/2009 season, he joined AmaTuks from Northern Cyprus side Yenicami Agdelen SK.
Massa was the fifth striker to be brought into the squad during the winter as Barker looked to fill the void left by influential forward Mame Niang.
Massa has scored 10 goals for Uganda Cranes in 36 appearances since 2005 but was ignored for Cranes latest 1-0 loss to Senegal in a World Cup qualifier.
Massa for me is thge r4eal deal good luck for him.
