With the technological advancement going on, Mushabe unveiled a new digital publishing platform called Mixakids to target children and parents in the east African Region.

This new platform mainly focuses on creative writing and publishing where children write books for fellow children to read, share knowledge and different life experiences.

Last week the project saw one of its first beneficiaries identified as Jeila Tumushime from the Ntinda based St Francis Primary school, Kigoowa receiving Shs600,000 for her story she published with Mixakids story writing competition.

Jeila, a primary six pupil, submitted her story during the Mixakids expo that was organized in June at Uganda Museum in Kitante that attracted 120 schools in participation.

Jeila’s story has been running in the Mixakids platforms that enabled her to gain massive readership to scoop a big margin in the sales of her story.
