Mother of Five Held for Defiling 15-year-old
Jane Adong, a mother of five and resident of Paluker village in Atiak sub county in Amuru district is in trouble for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old boy.
Police picked up Adong over the weekend after receiving a tip off from concerned residents.
She is wanted for wooing a primary five pupil of Palukere Primary School, whose identity has been withheld because he is a minor into sex.
According to Police, the suspect repeatedly had sexual intercourse with the minor since December 23rd last year.
The minor told police that before Christmas they had protected sex with the suspect but abandoned the condoms later and resorted to live sex.
Jimmy Patrick Okema, the Aswa Region Police spokesperson says they will subject the suspect to HIV testing to ascertain whether or not she has infected the minor.
Adong is currently being held at Gulu Central Police Station waiting to be charged. Last year, a 14 year-old-boy in the area committed suicide after his parents turned down his proposal to marry a 47-year-old woman.
