PHOTOS: Crane Bank Celebrates 20yrs of Service in Style
Clients and well-wishers of one of Uganda’s top best bank (Crane bank) on Thursday flocked to Bukoto based Kabira Country Club, in a jovial mood to celebrate the bank’s twenty years of excellent services since its inception in the country.
The function was graced by a live band, lots of drinks and eats, and was witnessed by a number of Kampala’s top tycoons who included; Simba Telecom’s Patrick Bitatuure, Nakumat’s Amina Hersi, Hamis Kiggundu of Ham towers, Dynarpharm tycoon-Esther Ampumuza, Major Herbert Muramagi, Robert Kabushenga, Kwagalana Club members led by their chairperson Godfrey Kirumira, Sudhir Ruparelia, his daughter Sheena and wife Jyostna. Others included; Ephraim Ntaganda, Hajji Yusuf Matovu alias Youma, Tom Mugenga, John Bagambe, Dick Kizito, among others.
In his deliberation, Crane bank’s acting managing Director P.K Gupta, hailed the Crane bank clients for always being there for them.
“This is a historical event to celebrate 20 years of excellent services for Crane bank. Ladies and gentlemen, there is no word that I can use to express my joy apart from saying thank you very…Very, much for trusting Crane bank, continue with that spirit we shall also try to give you the best services than before, and please let everyone enjoy the day,” Gupta said.
Crane Bank has been in operation since 21st Aug 1995 and it is ranked among the top five commercial banks in the country, with strategic branches in places like; Kabale, Kabalagala, Kisoro, Jinja, Mbale, Mukono, Abayitababiri, Lira, Gulu, Iganga, Mbarara, Nakivubo, Fort portal, among others. It was promoted by a prominent Ugandan businessman, Sudhir Ruparelia in association with leading Ugandans from Industry, Trade, Commerce, Finance and Insurance sectors.
