Ndejje University Vs Simba, Luweero

Simba FC coach Eric Ndifuna insists there is no magic for winning away from home and his side is braced for victory against top spot hopefuls Ndejje University in an epic Elgon group encounter tomorrow in Luwero.

Simba that lost to Bright Light away in the last fixture last week have garnered nothing from the three trips so far despite winning all their two home games.

Ahead of Luwero trip, Ndifuna is boosted by the return of midfielders Solomon Lwanga and Martin Opolot from suspension and injury respectively as he presses for his first away victory.

“Our away stats are not convincing but we shall try to make ends meet tomorrow,” noted Ndifuna.

The Hosts are yet to lose at home and coach Raymond Komakech is keen for his players to rise to the occasion and move top of the Elgon group table.

That may only be for two days but the scholars know Victory against 9th placed Simba will be enough to lift them above leaders Maroons, who play on Saturday.

After six games, Ndejje is joint top with unbeaten Maroons on 14 points, but the Prisoners lead by a goal difference despite playing a game less.

Ndejje look direct promotion contenders this season and are eager, therefore to keep their 100% winning run at home.

“It will be a big motivation to take three points to be top of the table,” noted Komakech.
