Ugandan dancehall musician Coco Finger and his manager Emma Carlos have parted ways. This comes after a disagreement over the signing of a new singer Kalifah without the former’s knowledge.

As a result, the ‘Don’t break my heart’ singer decided he has had enough of his manager Emma and thus gave him his marching orders.

Emma who owns a plush digital studio and modeling company revealed this on his social networking site Facebook account where he wrote “JUST TO MAKE IT EASY FOR OUR FRIENDS…HAVE JUST BEEN FIRED BY COCO FINGER FOR SIGNING UP A NEW KID KNOWN AS KALIFAH (AgaNaga). NO HARD FEELINGS, WE BOTH ACHIEVED A LOT WITH OUR PARTNERSHIP. NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER”

When contacted, Coco Finger confirmed this development though he was tight lipped on the reasons that could have led to this fall out saying, “We had issues like any other friends but we agreed to give each other a break…I am confirming we have parted ways…I am not revealing the reason.”

The two have been working together for the last three years that have seen them make a mark on Uganda’s entertainment scene. Today Coco finger is a household name in the music industry of the country registering chart topping hits like ‘mikono wagulu’, ‘don’t break my heart’ among others.
