Kenyan Stars Expelled From Camp Over Prostitutes

The Football Kenya Federation [FKF] has validated the expulsion from CECAFA camp of Harambee Stars duo of Paul Were and Kevin Omondi and promised to take further disciplinary measures against the AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia FC forwards once they arrive back home in Kenya.
While addressing the press, a representative from KFK said, “We have indefinitely suspended the two players from the national team and we are going to punish them some more in their home club football as well so that it can act as a lesson to the rest.”
The team’s head coach, James Nandwa said that the members’ indiscipline is a mental blow on the rest of the squad as they will now have to get their bonuses after going back home from international tournaments.
“We have also decided that we will be paying our players, allowances, once they are back in the country to avoid such disgraceful incidents,” the visibly disappointed coach added.
The case of indiscipline is said to have occurred the same evening after the players had been paid a total of UShs9 million [Kshs. 289,784] in allowances and past arrears.
The two were very overwhelmed with their pay day and 2-0 win over South Sudan, that they stormed the streets and splurged on prostitutes whom they sneaked back to the hotel for non-stop bonking.
