MultiChoice African has embarked on a promotion to reward its ardent customers that will see DStv subscribers in Uganda stand a chance of winning $5,000 for staying connected to the digital TV channel.

According to a statement released on February 4 by MultiChoice Africa, beginning February 5 until April 10, DStv subscribers will win the mega cash by staying connected to DStv’s exciting world of sport, movies, music, news, kids, documentary, lifestyle and entertainment.

MultiChoice Africa has also announced that all its DStv subscribers in Uganda are eligible to win cash prizes, regardless of the bouquet they subscribe to.

MultiChoice Africa CEO, Nico Meyer, says that DStv was pleased by the support it has received and wished to express its gratitude that consumers continue to choose the pay TV for its diverse range of bouquets and channels.

“We’re always searching for new ways to add extra value to our subscribers’ lives. Whether through innovative programming, embracing new technology or expanding our operations network, we aim to be the best. This year we’re consolidating all our subscriber loyalty competitions and initiatives into one portfolio called DStv Rewards,” said Meyer.

He adds: “With the exciting game show THE MONEY DROP currently on AfricaMagic, we decided that the time was right for a significant cash give-away. So you can watch people win on TV and you can win at home! We definitely intend for DStv Rewards to become a major part of our brand’s overall identity in future. DStv Rewards may include cash prizes, trip give-aways, luxury gifting, channel promotions and more. And we will move between markets so while a country may not be included in one promotion, it will be included in others.”

But that’s not all as winners walking away with cash prizes will be filmed for inserts that will be screened during the hit game show THE MONEY DROP on AfricaMagic and AfricaMagic Entertainment.
