Body-builder Ivan Byekwaso brags that his now ready to challenge his opponents this time during the Miami Pro World body-building championships slated for April 7 at the Alban Arena in London, England
Bodybuilder Ivan Byekwaso insists that he is now ready to challenge his opponents during the Miami Pro World bodybuilding Championships slated for April 7 at the Alban Arena in London, England.
Byekwaso, who has intensified training at Hotel Africana Gym for the last two weeks having secured the required money for the trip in time, is positive he can win the championship this year.
The four time former Mr. Uganda said his rivals should not forget he finished second overall in 2010.
He revealed that his training regimen had already paid off as he had started putting on more weight after making a full recovery from malaria last month.
Byekwaso’s preparations were last month boosted by Seafast Logistics East African Regional manager Michael Majeed, who offered him weekly food supplements and a travel ticket valued at US$1,700 (Shs4.4million).
Bulaimu Muwanga Kibirige, commonly known as BMK, offered Byekwaso Shs2.8 million for accommodation during the one week event.
Saad Byaruhanga and Bridget Namutebi are the other two bodybuilders invited for the event, although Namutebi pulled out for personal reasons.
