Provisional results from Kenya’s presidential elections show a two-horse race between Jubilee candidate Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga of Cord.
On Tuesday at 13:50pm Provisional results indicate that Mr Kenyatta had so far garnered 2,535, 184 (54.06%) while his main challenger Mr Odinga had 1,1943, 097 (41.44%).
Kenya has about 14.3 million voters.
Kenya held a general election on Monday to vote a new president, members of parliament, senators, county governors and women representatives.
The presidential race attracted eight candidates, but the contest is between Prime Minister Odinga and Deputy Prime Minister Kenyatta.
The other candidates are Martha Karua, Musalia Mudavadi, Peter Kenneth, Mohammed Dida, Paul Muite and James Ole Kiyiapi.
