Museveni Calls on BRICS To Invest In East Africa.

President Yoweri Museveni,last evening invited BRICS block countries to invest in  East African Community(EAC),COMESA and ICGLR as its good for business in African sub regions. The President who is also the chairman of three regional bodies said this while addressing the 5th BRICS summit in Durban South Africa hosted by President Jacob Zuma.

While delivering his speech,President Museveni,said that the BRICS can help in providing  soft loans on a country to country basis to build infrastructure in areas of electricity, roads, railways and harbours and industrial parks. He also thanked  MTN for revolutionizing the mobile phone industry in Uganda. The conference was opened by the South Africa Leader, Jacob Zuma and was also addressed by President Dilma Rousseff of Brazil, Vladimir Putin of Russia, the Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, the Chinese President Xi Jinping and the host President Zuma. African Regional Bodies attending included the NEPAD, ECOWAS, EGAD, SADC and the Arab Maghreb Union.

  1. lets hope their coming affect the lower people since they are most affected whenever such developments come in and the government turns a deaf ear on their calms
