Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has dragged singers Bobi Wine and Kenzo to court accusing them of littering the city. This is after they plastered posters around the city advertising their Easter shows without the consent of KCCA.
The two singers were arraigned before court last week and are expected to report again very soon. According to officials, Artistes have been advised to use other forums like radio, TV and newspapers instead of littering the city with posters.
“Most of the artistes do not want to seek permission which is against the city bi-laws. We will not hesitate to prosecute them” KCCA spokesperson Peter Kauju said.
