Uganda’s Ronald Mugula will face Romania’s Janos Elek in a Pro-Continental Kickboxing fight this evening at the Kyadondo ground.

Mugula was meant to battle in a Super Welterweight kickboxing fight against a Thailand opponent Valdet Gash, but the opponent pulled out.

Jonas, who arrived in Uganda early this week, told Uganda Radio Network that he is ready to show Mugula that he is a good fighter. The Romanian boosts of 45 wins (10Kos), 12 losses and 8 draws.

But Mugula, who won an international continental fight against a Hungarian last year in Kampala, has vowed he will not let down his fans. Mugula said he would use the fight to prove his continental win was not a fluke.

Mugula will be hungry to make Ugandans happier with a win following middleweight Titus Tugume’s victory last week over Hungary’s Szabo Tibor in a non-title fight at the Agip Motel in Mbarara.
