Ugandans on Target in Kenya Premier league

Easter weekend was a blessing  to Ugandan football exports in Kenya Tusker Premier league. four of them were on target for their
respective teams. Ugandan forward Daniel “Mzee” Sserunkuma added his name on the score sheet, Andrew Ssekayombya, Jimmy Bageya and Karuturi fc’s Zzinda Hussein were on target too.

City Stars 2-1 Sony Sugars

City Stars new signing Jimmy Bageya netted their winning goal in the 70th minute of the game played at City Stadium. The former Entebbe
Young FC striker’s goal helped the home team move 9th on the log with 7points collected in 6 games. Bruno Sserunkuma, a former Arum Roses lefter, also featured for City.

Tusker FC 2-1 Bandari FC

Andrew Ssekayombya the ex KCC FC player was a substitute for Jesse Were whose introduction was Gave Tusker FC. a late winner, Efforts of other Ugandans like Aucho Khalid, Robert Omunuk and Martin Kizza were credited for Tusker’s first win of the season that moved them to 11th position with 5points from 3games sofa played.

Gor Mahia 1-0 Mathare United

Uganda’s celebrated striker Daniel “Mzee” Sserunkuma’s solitary goal gave the fans Easter weekend happiness. The game’s center
referee awarded Go Mahia a controversial spot kick after the former KKL, Express FC Victors and City Stars striker was fouled in the
forbidden area. Mzee put the ball past the visiting team’s custodian in the 55th minute to make it 1-0 for Zdravko Logarusic’s side who are
now 10th with 6 points after 3games played. Other Ugandans of Israel  Emuge and Ivan Anguyo were unused substitute for Gor.

Sofapaka 4-2 Karuturi

Hussein Zzinda assisted and scored but his efforts did not help his Karuturi fc team. He assisted Murunga Andrews’s first half goal before
making his in the other half of the game played on the weekend. Former KCC FC player Bulega Ahmed Omar started on bench for the visiting
