The legal team has been instructed by the NRM party to file a petition in the constitutional court to challenge the ruling of the Rt .Hon. Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga regarding the expulsion of the  NRM rebel MPS.

Recently the Speaker made a ruling that the expelled legislators; Wilfred Nuwagaba, Thoedore Sekikubo, Muhamed Nsereko and Barnabas Tinkasimire could retain their seats in parliament despite being thrown out of their party.

The team presented the court papers to the President for his signature as the Chairman of the NRM Party and to the Rt. Hon. Prime minister Amama Mbabazi as Secretary General.

The legal team interfaced with the president and is ready to file its papers.

The team is headed by counsel John Mary Mugisha, and includes Twinobusingye Severino, Chris John Bakiza, Sam Mayanja and Matsiko Joseph.
