Mavado.

All music lovers have a reason to smile this time. Info reaching our desk is that Jamaican Dance hall singer Mavado’s show is set for June 7.

According to sources within Uganda breweries ltd, they will take up all the costs for Mavado to perform in Uganda. This comes after the Nigerian promoter Chinedu failed to raise costs Mavado had asked for to perform in Kampala over the Easter weekend.

Mavado was supposed to perform in Kampala on December 29 but never showed up, they also prepared Jan 12th but never did it. The show was pushed to the Easter weekend but promoter Chinedu could not handle Mavado’s demands that included business air class air tickets for him and his crew that totaled to about $38,000.

Chinedu had approached Bell Lager but they turned him down. However, in twist of events, our insiders in Bell lager told our desk that the deal has been signed with Mavado to perform on June 7.
