Olive Kazarwe, the Buganda road chief magistrate has issued an arrest warrants for the MP on request from Peace Bira, a state attorney.

Prosecution alleges that in September 2012, MP Kintu without any lawful excuse presented 2 false cheques with a face value of 10 million shillings to Nimbya with instructions to draw money from her dormant account in Equity Bank.

This is not the first time Kintu, who is the current chair of the Public and Local government committee of parliament is running in trouble with money lenders.

Early this year, Kintu was dragged before the Nakawa magistrate’s court by an Indian money lender after she alleged failed to clear an accumulated debt of 40 million shillings. The case is still ongoing.

  1. No wonder she fumbled with Lukwago’s report perhaps with the promise from the State House to rescue her.

  2. Now this clearly explains the forgery of the KCCA report by this woman and her colleague probably with some promise/expectation from the Executive.
Oh God help our Uganda from these vultures.

  3. Its really shameful our leaders have completely failed to exhibit to our young generation how to lead by example…..
