Star QT Fashion House’s Stella Nankya will hoist Uganda’s flag at this year’s prestigious Miss Asia Pacific World Super Talent endeavor in Seoul, South Korea.
This year’s competition will be the 3rd edition of the Miss Asia Pacific World Super Talent pageant to be held on 30 October 2013 and will see reigning queen Himangini Singh Yadu of India pass on the crown to her successor.
The 25 year old beauty queen and founder of Star QT Fashion House will become the first Ugandan to participate in the Asian beauty competition.
This is good news for Stella’s fashion career. Her fashion house Starqt won an accolade, Best New Label at the 2010 fashion awards.
This news comes a week after another Ugandan, singer, businesswoman and socialite, Zarinah Tlale, commonly known as Zari, scooped an ambassadorial position for the same Miss Asia Pacific World 2013.
Miss Asia Pacific World Super Talent is a essential platform for future film stars, models, talents, spokeswomen and singers from all over the world, to get themselves discovered and finally get a spot in the limelight. It differs from other pageants as the overall goal is to work towards creating a superstar out of the winner.
Diana Starskova, a former winner of MAPW, was invited to the Cannes International Film Festival and now working for the appearance in ‘Benazir Bhutto’, the movie on the first Islamic female leader’s life story. This movie will be presented in the Oscar and the Emmy’s in 2014.

MAPW on Tuesday announced that acclaimed magazine ‘Maxim International’, will become the official publishing magazine to cover Miss Asia Pacific World 2013. 15 top girls of MAPW 2013 appear main models of Maxim 2014 edition.
