The Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) is sending four officials to Uganda to supervise a two-day top level management workshop that starts tomorrow.
Rogers Mulindwa, the FA’s head of communication, confirmed yesterday afternoon that the four officials will help conduct the workshop for all the FUFA Super League (FSL) clubs ahead of the 2013/2014 new season.
FIFA expert on leagues, James Johnson, development Officer for Southern Africa, Ashford Mamelodi, Francesco Bruscoli and Leodegar Tenga, also the Tanzania FA and Cecafa President, will conduct the workshop.
The non-residential training workshop to be held at Mandela National Stadium will be officially opened by the FA President Lawrence Mulindwa.
All clubs, including the newly-promoted side, have confirmed participation, with each expected to be represented by the chairman and secretary.
“The workshop will help the club officials acquire knowledge and skills on how best they can have a successful competition,” explained the head of communication.
The 2013/2014 league season is expected to start on August 20.
