Sarah Nampijja alias Sera, a musician whose death last year left the music industry in shock, will be remembered on Wednesday August 1 at Christ the King Church in Kampala.
The memorial mass will begin at 10am.
The untimely death of Sarah Nampijja plunged the music industry in shock and up to now no one knows what exactly killed her.
She is rumored to have died of ulcers.
Sera was known to many through her popular blockbuster hit ‘Contagious’ that she did with Jeff Blaze (Jeff Mukisa).
She had other popular for songs like ‘Sunrise, ‘One Ting Man’ and her very latest was ‘Fire’.
Sera was signed under Swangs Avenue, a record label in Uganda.
Before her death Sera was from the burial of her Producer’s father Ken, while on their way back, she felt a sharp pain in the stomach.
She was then rushed to the nearest hospital where she was treated to some medication.
Sera had not taken food on that day and yet she was a victim of ulcers.
She started vomiting and gushing out blood from all most all the body openings.
With the continuous loss of blood, Sera could not survive, she was declared dead.
