Gagamel Phamily boss Bebe Cool and the speaker of parliament Hon. Rebecca Kadaga were among the runners at the cancer awareness rotary run that was flagged off by Golden boy Stephen Kiprotich at Kololo Airstrip yesterday August 25.
The run also attracted big personalities in the city who included; the Uganda Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic, Cranes players like Hassan Wasswa, Godfrey Walusimbi, Uganda Cranes Initiative Officials, FUFA CEO Edgar Watson, Golf star Deo Akope and many more.
The run was aimed at soliciting funds to complete the construction of the cancer ward at St. Francis Nsambya hospital.
After the run, Bebe Cool thanked all the people who turned up for the run.
“Today was a beautiful morning when i was some of the last runners on the cancer marathon but thanks to everyone who attended because we are all winners in sending this message. Everyone should go and test for cancer,” said Bebe Cool
