Uganda’s famous female rapper Jocelyne Tracey aka Keko is set to thrill fans as she performs at this year’s Big Brother Africa the chase grand finale set for Sunday August 25 in Johannesburg.
Keko will share the stage with Africa’s best singers that include Nigeria’s Ice Prince, South Africa’s DJ Ganyani, and Ghanaian group R2Bees.
Keko rose to fame in 2010 with the release of ‘fallen heroes’ which she appeared alongside other established Ugandan artists like Don MC, SP, DAVIS and also the mwanba children choir.
After spitting arguably the best verse on the track Keko began to turn heads with her lyrics, delivery and presence on tracks.
Her break through single ‘How we do it’ took the Ugandan charts and MTV Africa by storm making her an instant household name in East Africa.
The success of the track even led to an endorsement deal with Pepsi, and saw her lead Mountain Dew’s advertising campaign in East Africa.
Our Ugandan contestants in this year’s Big Brother Africa reality show were among the first contestants to be evicted.
