Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta has congratulated President Robert Mugabe upon his re-election in the concluded Zimbabwe General Elections.

“My Congratulations go out to President Robert Mugabe on his re-election in the just concluded Zimbabwe General election. We have had good relations between Kenya and Zimbabwe and I look forward to deepening these historical ties,” Uhuru Posted on his official Facebook page.

The said to be peaceful election saw the 90 year old Robert Mugabe triumph over his main rival Morgan Tsvangirai


Other Presidents who have congratulated President Mugabe are; Jacob Zuma of South Africa, President Kikwete of Tanzania and China is the latest to send a congratulation message to President Mugabe.

President Zuma further urged all political parties in Zimbabwe to accept the outcome of the elections as election observers reported that the outcome is an expression of the will of the people.

  1. Really? With over 2000 people aged over 100 years voting in just one Town? And over 2 million ballot papers having been printed over and above those needed? Don’t Zimbabweans feel humiliated by their own timidity? No wonder they are the most cowardly people in Southern Africa lest they would have dug up Cecil Rhodes Grave at Matopo hills and burnt his remains. For Kenyatta to say cheers is trully African, am not surprised by that. They always do.Remember Mueveni saying well done to Kibaki when even the Chairman of KEC said he did not know who won?
