Bidco humble SC Villa in Kakindu

Jinja-based Bidco FC silenced former Champions SC Villa 3-1 in a FUFA Super League game played at the Kakindu Stadium in Eastern Uganda.

Handled by Cranes assistant coach Kefa Kisaala, the home side dominated play from the start to score through Robert Achema, Tito Okello and Crespo Asiko. SC Villa scored their lone goal through Emma Kalyowa.

The win pushed Bidco FC to fifth place behind newly-promoted Bright Stars, who also beat Kiira Young 1-0.

The team, handled by former Ireland-based professional and Cranes star Livingstone Mbabazi, scored through newly-signed Anthony Bongole to hand Kiira Young their second defeat.

Uganda Revenue Authority moved to second place after a 2-0 win over army side Simba FC. Feni Ali and Eriya Ssekisambu scored for Paul Nkata’s team, which took part in the Cecafa Kagame Club Championships in Darfur, Sudan, two months ago.

In the other games played today, Masaka LC FC needed a Samuel Kayongo to beat CRO FC 1-0, while Entebbe FC held SC Victoria 1-1. Veteran Yusuf Kinene netted for Entebbe FC and Simon Okwi scored for the University side.
