The group was injured after the MP’s vehicle Pajero Registration number UAR 219/H lost control and overturned when the driver tried to dodge a cow at Kaziradindido hill, about a kilometer from Kikube trading center in Kiziranfumbi sub-county Hoima district. Junjura sustained injuries on the face, hands and legs while the journalists sustained severe bruises on the face.

Steven Muhoozi, the Hoima district traffic office says the MP and the journalists were returning from Kyangwali sub-county where they had gone to address residents from Bukinda and Kasonga parishes who were evicted from Kyangwali Refugee camp a fortnight ago. Muhoozi says the victims were rushed to Kikube health four in Kiziranfumbi where they received first Aid before they were transferred to Kabalege medical center.

By the time of filing this story our reporter was unable to establish contact with Kabalega Medical Center l to establish how the victims are doing.
