Nemostars Date KAVC In Club Finals |VOLLEYBALL
Defending league champions Nemostars will hope providence will be on their side when they face record holders Kampala Amateur Volleyball club (KAVC) at the MTN Arena Lugogo in the final of the National Club Championship (NCC) on Wednesday.

Anthony Ndawula’s side who edged KAVC 2-1 in February to lift the Makerere Open are unbeaten in the league after 13 games.
“We are focused on winning today’s (Wednesday) final. It is has been our main project going back to the continent again and again,” Nemostars’ center Christopher Ajena intimated to our reporter.
Ajena was part of the team that made the Tripoli trip for the Africa Club Championship after winning the National League last year but the team never made it past the preliminaries.
But KAVC 2-1 victors over the youthful Nemo side in the Nkumba University in July will not come cheaply.
The earlier final on September 8 was washed out by a heavy downpour at Mbale Cricket Grounds with Nemostars leading KAVC by a set, and where ahead by one point (11-10) in the second but KAVC’s Matthew Mwenyi believes their quest for a 13th NCC will come to realization today.
“We are more than ready even now,” he vowed.
