Over 30 Musicians To Grace KCCA Festival

A line-up of over 30 Ugandan based artists are expected to thrill over 100,000 revelers who are set to grace  Kampala City Festival come Sunday October 6.

The list that has leaked to the Redpepper Online team features artists like Radio and Weasel, Lillian Mbabazi, Jackie Chandiru, Mesach Semakula, Khalifa Aganaga, Eddy Kenzo,  Wilson Bugembe, Coco finger, Raga Dee, Aziz Azion and many more.

The Ghetto president, Bobi wine of the Firebase Crew will be the headlining act of the day.

The festival will see some of the main roads in Kampala closed for a day in an effort to create a bigger space for thousands of people who are expected to grace the festival.

Making the announcement, Jennifer Musisi, KCCA Executive Director said “This will be a great time for Kampala city dwellers to come and celebrate what the city has to offer and our music is among the best in Africa so we need to appreciate and showcase it during the Festival”.

She further called upon people from all walks of life to come and grace the festival.

“I believe music is instrumental in bringing societies together and Kampala dwellers should come out in their numbers to celebrate not only music, but all the other achievements as a City,” said Musisi.
