SC Villa Sure Of Comeback

CRO vs Entebbe FC

Villa vs URA

SCVU vs Vipers

Police vs BUL FC

SC Villa faithful believe that the team will improve and convert more chances in their coming matches of the FUFA Super League this season despite their weak start. The record league champions SC Villa will this evening host second placed URA FC at Nakivubo stadium.

Coach Steven Bogere insisted that the team is strong enough and will stage a comeback in their next matches as they seek to clinch their first win of the second leg.

“The scores were not on our side but we did not play badly. BIDCO scored their goals after we had lost our chances on both instances so it happens when it comes to lost chances,” told Bogere RED Pepper Online when asked about their 3-1 to the 5th placed Jinja side last Friday at Kakindu stadium.

Bogere has assured that he will not give up on the boys but will keep on encouraging them so that they can return to their previous level of performance before it is too late into the season.

The former SC Victoria assistant coach said that his worry is on players Isaac Kirabira, Ayub Kisalita, Jamal Kijari and Mike Kabanda who have to pass a late fitness.

“We know Paul Nkata’s tactics, he was once a Villa player and coach says there is nothing he can change.  The best team will walk home with the points,” said Bogere.

A win for the tax collectors will take them above surprise leaders SOANA FC who have nine points from three games played.

URA Midfielder Saidi Kyeyune however thinks that it will be a no contest for the tax collectors. Kyeyune created the two goals which helped URA beat Simba 2-0 on Friday.
