Philip Kiplimo leads the line World Mountain Running Championship in Poland

Uganda’s runners at the September World Mountain Running Championship in Poland have won the Nile Special Uganda Sports Press Association Sports Personality of the month on Monday 7 at noon.

The four-man team that secured a maiden 1-2-3-4 finish at the World Champs and were also named the overall team event.

Philip Kiplimo anchored his colleagues to the emphatic win ahead of Italy and Turkey. Geoffrey Kusuro, Nathan Ayieko and Peter Kibet are the other teammates.

Nemostars and Nkumba University Volleyball Club have been commended for their triumph at the 31st edition of the National Club Champions in the month of September.
