Defending champions KCCA FC host in-form SC Victoria University in a FUFA Super League match on Friday.
“We need to make good use of our home advantage and get back to winning ways after our recent loss to Vipers,” George Nsimbe, the KCCA FC coach told reporters this morning. Nsimbe will hope that the likes of Brian Majwega, Herman Wasswa and Tony Odur are at their best to handle SC Victoria University who will represent Uganda in the 2014 CAF Confederation Cup.
Second leading goal scorer Simon Okwi will be eager to hunt down his former side KCCA who released him during the transfer period.
“We are taking this game very seriously because we are aware KCCA is a strong side.
But we have also trained well and the players are eager to impress,” said SC Victoria coach Alex Isabirye whose team is second on the log.
Meanwhile, league leaders URA FC will play away to Masaka LC FC in a game they hope to garner maximum points against their struggling hosts.
URA and Cranes striker Frank Kalanda continues on his hunt for his first league goal for his new club as the season enters week eight.
Newly promoted Bright Stars FC will host army side Simba, while Coach Kefa Kisala’s Bidco awaits Entebbe FC.
And Express FC, the Red Eagles as they are popularly called, who humbled CRO FC 6-0 early this month, will battle Police FC.
