Bell Lager as the platinum sponsor has undertaken to put up an exquisite showcase during biggest festival celebration Uganda has seen.

Through world class floats, spectacular and sumptuous costumes, a thrilling display of fireworks, an incredible street parade with dancers and mascots and a VIP experience for its partners, stakeholders and fans.

Themed Our City, Our Celebration, the Kampala City Festival will be a platform to celebrate the many things that set Kampala apart from other cities while reveling our yesterday, today, tomorrow and beyond.

These include Kampala’s vibrant nightlife, the welcoming and great hospitality of the Ugandan people and the fact that Kampala city was built on seven hills.

The Festival was started by KCCA last year with a vision to bring the people of Kampala City and beyond, together to celebrate Uganda’s 50 years of Independence. It has now turned into an explosive event that Bell Lager is promising to elevate and help KCCA deliver a far more memorable experience through a world-class carnival-style display each year.

Making the announcement on Bell’s participation in the event, Bell Lager Brand Manager, Robert Nsibirwa said, “we are obviously proud to be associated with the Kampala City Festival for the second year running as it is great events and moments like these that truly represent the ideals of our brand, Bell Lager. As the pioneer sponsors of the festival, it is also true testimony to our commitment to creating unique and amazing experiences for our consumers as well as our continued desire to reward them for their loyalty”.

The Festival will see the entire stretch from Watoto Church to Kitgum House closed for the day for the over 100,000 people expected to show up to experience the amazing mix of arts, entertainment, fashion, nature and business.

“We encourage all Ugandans with a celebratory spirit from all parts of the country to come join us as we celebrate our capital during the Kampala City Festival on Sunday, 6th October 2013. It’s going to be lots of fun in the Bell Nation,” said Robert.
