Uganda Plans Two Friendlies

A week after the aborted Uganda Cranes-Rwanda international friendly, head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has revealed the FA is planning two build-up games before the upcoming for East and Central African Football Associations (CECAFA) Senior Challenge Cup in Kenya in November.

The Cranes have already embarked on training ahead of the CECAFA and 2014 CHAN competitions, but the coach has maintained that only local based players will take part in the regional event take place November 27 to December 10 in four towns, including the capital Nairobi.

“I know the tournament in Kenya will not be that easy, but we want to put-up a team that will be able to play good football thus the need to play atleast two friendlies and also use the event to prepare for the 2014 CHAN event,” said Micho.
