60 Injured In Amuria Road Accident
At least 30 people are admitted at Soroti regional referral hospital after a vehicle they travelling in lost control and overturned in Amuria district Eastern Uganda, early today.

The Fuso truck registration number UCQ 616 Fuso was carrying about sixty business people heading to Onyam Igurok cattle market in Orungo sub-county in Amuria district.
Deo Obura, the Amuria district police commander attributes the accident to dangerous loading. Obura added that the vehicle that was carrying business people from Soroti town to Onyam Igurok cattle market overturned after the driver lost control.



Charles Okello, one of the survivors said that the driver jumped off and ran after realizing that he had lost control.
Doctor Joseph Epodoi , a senior surgeon at Soroti Regional Referral hospital confirmed that over 30 victims are admitted while over ten had fractures.
