St Lawrence talisman Allan Ssembatya believes the champions have played their best basketball against Makerere University in the University beach soccer league and will look at keeping results the same way this weekend in the Pepsi National Beach Soccer League at Lido Beach.beachDefending Champions St. Lawrence will confront the University battle with charisma after a two week break has gave all the teams ample time to prepare for this weekend’s action that will see eight games played.

The Rubaga based university remains unbeaten in the league and their Sports tutor Seguya Peter adds that the team is not taking the university affair lightly as they will be seeking to maintain the run.

“We will come out in full swing and make sure we win this game as our target is to end the regular season unbeaten”, added Seguya.

Goalkeeper Ramunda Nasser, Top scorer Nkuubi Brian, Sengendo Andrew, Kalyowa Emma, Muwonge Eric and Cranes midfielder Kyeyune Said are some of the players St.Lawrence will bank on for maximum points.

In the Monsoon group all eyes will be on the fixture between Braza Braza and Real Galacticos in the Mengo derby.

Abdul Karim ‘Alevaro’, Mansoor Ssuuna and Kassim Nasir who formerly played for Braza Braza will put on different shirts featuring for the Galacticals.

“I know their weaknesses. I want to finish them off by scoring for my team. I want to silence their fans who hate me with passion’ said Abdul Karim.

Braza Braza are second in the Monson group that is topped by Stormers  but only on goal difference as the two sides have 12 points each whereas Real Galacticos are fifth with six points.

All Games will be played on Sunday beginning at midday.
