Vipers Sports Club took their chance and climbed top of the FUFA Super League log on Friday evening on back of a  1-0 win Bright Stars FC at Nakivubo Stadium.
Coach Moses Golola’s side, who have been impressive in the last one month, have steadily but surely recovered to find their touch. Early this week, Vipers was in excellent form demolishing Soana FC 4-0 at the Kitende Stadium.

Vincent-KayizzFormer Poland-based Cranes midfielder Vincent Kayizzi’s goal has sent Vipers SC .Kayizzi who earned a recall to the national team last week made no mistake scoring from in-side the box.

The win pushed Vipers SC to top of the log ahead of SC Victoria University by two points.

“I am happy to keep scoring for my new team Vipers SC,” said Kayizzi after the match.

While Vipers SC was in winning mood, struggling Express FC suffered yet another defeat to visiting Bidco FC.

Express who have not paid their players for some months lost 2-1.

Crespo Asiku and Jackson Kibirige netted for Bidco while Umaru Ngobi pulled one back for the Red Eagles Express FC.

In the other matches played on Friday, Police humbled bottom placed CRO FC 4-0 while Masaka LC FC settled for a 1-all draw against Entebbe FC.

Action in the League continues Saturday with Soana FC hosting SC Victoria University.
