Burundi’s Hope Wins Tusker Project Fame Six

It was a moment of Joy to People of Burundi and Hope’s fans around East Africa after Irakoze Hope from Burundi was crowned the winner of Tusker Project Fame Season 6 over the weekend.

The most popular TV show in East Africa has been staging live shows and airing for a period of 8 weeks, starting from the 18th October with 15 contestants.

Uganda’s Daisy Ejang came in the third position and Kenya’s singing duo Amos and Josh was the second.

The Man with a massive voice from Burundi began to pose threat to the academy four weeks back after his performances were much felt by the audience who were singing to his beat every moment he took the stage.

Hope emerged the winner after he out competed a strong opposition of all east African countries that included Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan.

Hope is the first Burundian to take home the five Million Kenya Shillings prize.
