Gor Mahia Sign Walusimbi
Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia have finally landed Uganda Cranes left back Geoffrey Walusimbi on undisclosed fee Steven Kagiri in Nairobi Kenya reports.
The 23 year old defender penned a two year contract at the club on undisclosed fee and will join the club for the pre season training in
January. Walusimbi has been on Gor’s radar for two years now and his capture will be a huge reprieve for Kogalo who released experienced left back Christopher Wekesa.
Club secretary George Bwana confirmed the news and said that they are ecstatic to tie the former Vipers and SC villa pivotal defender.
‘”We are delighted to have him in our ranks and he will join us for the pre-season ahead of the CAF Champions league.’’
“To compete favorably we have to get the best players on board. Thclub intends to bring in more quality players in this period,’’
assured Bwana.
Walusimbi joins fellow countrymen Dan Sserunkuma and Israel Emuge at the club . He has also reunited with his former national team
coach Bobby Williamson who is the coach at the Club a post he took over in May this year.
