Football - 2014 Fifa World Cup Qualifier - Uganda Vs Angola - Mandela Stadium - Namboole - KampalaThe 23 year old defender penned a two year contract at the club  on undisclosed fee and will join the club for the pre season training in
January. Walusimbi has been on Gor’s radar for two years now and his capture will be a huge reprieve for Kogalo who released experienced left back Christopher Wekesa.
Club secretary George Bwana confirmed the news and said that they are ecstatic to tie the former Vipers and SC villa pivotal defender.
‘”We are delighted to have him in our ranks and he will join us for the pre-season ahead of the CAF Champions league.’’
“To compete favorably we have to get the best players on board. Thclub intends to bring in more quality players in this period,’’
assured Bwana.
Walusimbi  joins  fellow countrymen Dan Sserunkuma and  Israel Emuge at the club .  He has also reunited with his former national team
coach Bobby Williamson who is the coach at the Club a post he took over in May this year.

Walusimbi, who deserted DR Congo club Don Bosco a few months ago, was lucky that the world governing body FIFA cleared him to play again after the DR Congo FA failed to explain his issue with Don Bosco.
Walusimbi made his national team debut in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola.
The talented defender, who was sent off in the Cranes’ 1-0 loss to Senegal early this month in a 2014 World Cup qualifier, played in Morocco and transferred to Don Bosco early this year for over $100,000, but failed to settle with the club, claiming they were not fulfilling the contractual obligation.
