Four Suspected Robbers Netted In Kabale

Kabale police are holding four suspected robbers and recovered two guns. The suspects are believed to have been behind the shooting of Edison Mutabaazi alias Brown, an employee of Highland Forex Bureau last week.


The suspects are John Byaruhanga alias Byamukama, Deo Agaba, James Ngaruye and Ignatius Twine, all attached to Saracen Security Company.

Ely Maate, the Kigezi Regional Police spokesperson says that the suspects were picked up on Wednesday in a police operation.

He says police also recovered two guns registration number AK 47 56-1-28035220 and AK 47 1088 with 7 and 3 bullets respectively.

Maate says operations to wipe out bad elements in Kabale and its surrounding districts are ongoing.

He appeals to residents to remain calm saying the situation is under control and asked them to volunteer information any information leading to the arrest of suspected thugs within their communities.
