Former KCCA FC talisman Ivan Anguyo has made a goal-scoring debut for his Kenyan club Kenya Premier League (KPL) debutants Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) FC trounced Nakumatt FC 2-0 in a friendly match played on Tuesday 21 January 2014 at KNH grounds.
The West Nile-born defender netted in the opening minutes from a neatly executed free kick from the edge of the box to hand the taxmen an early lead as the game head for a breather.
The former Gor Mahia also of Kenya star told Pepper Sport he was delighted to have started on a good note and hopes to score as many as he can for his team.
“I joined this team five days ago and I scored in my first game. I was so excited and thrilled. I scored our first goal. It was a nice freekick from outside the box,” Anguyo explained.
Lanky Anguyo was off-loaded by Gor Mahia one month ago but seem determined for a return to top flight football.
He didn’t cost KRA anything as he are un-attached.
