Versity Basketball League Set To Start

National University Sports Federation of Uganda (Nusfu) President Peninah Kabenge has revealed that their  national Universities basketball league will roll on in Apirl or May 2014 as planned.

A number of local Universities take part in the Airtel National Basketball League organised by FUBA while a host others are maligned by the by the rigid fixture schedules that sometimes take place during exam times.

“With over thirty universities in the country with 24 being NUSFU members, we shall have a successful league. Universities will be able to play in both FUBA league and our league once if bonafide students are being fielded, “Kabenge revealed.

The Nusfu eague in conferences like it is done in European countries.
