The NRM Caucus meeting at Kyankwanzi has unanimously endorsed the anti corruption bill 2013.
The bill proposes to confiscate the property of those involved in corruption.
In the debate which was chaired by David Bahati, the Member of Parliament for Ndorwa East, a resolution was reached that all NRM members should support the bill such that it is passed into law.
If passed into law, the confiscated property shall be managed by a public trustee appointed by the Minister as provided for by the Public Trustee Act.
The private members Bill was tabled in parliament by Makindye East Member of Parliament, Mr John Ssimbwa in August 2013.
The bill seeks to amend the Anti-Corruption Act No 6 of 2009 which has been strongly criticised for not being sufficient to fight corruption that is spreading like wild fire.
