Orlando Pirates Sign Ssentamu For Shs400M

SentamuWord rife in town has it that a staggering Shs400m has exchanged hands between South African giants Orlando Pirates and local club Vipers SC for Kasese raised 20-year-old forward Yunus Sentamu.

Ssentamu has Wednesday morning flown back to Johannesburg to complete a two-year contract with The Buccaneers.

Pirates have had to fend off interest from Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic for the forward, who was a star for his side in the recent African Nations Championship tournament held in South Africa.

Sentamu, who only finished his schooling last year at St Mary’s SS Kitende, is likely to hook up immediately with The Buccaneers, who are waiting for his work permit to come through.
