Namanve based 103.4 Juice FM has scooped two nominations for Uganda’s prestigious 2014 Radio and Television Awards.
The Nominations list was released on Thursday February 27, at the Centenary Park based BBQ Lounge and Juice FM was nominated in the categories of; Best English Music Show (Saturday Jam) and Best Afternoon show –English (Afternoon Beat Show).
In both categories, Juice FM will battle it out with other local based radio stations like; KFM, Hot100, Sanyu FM, Radio One and others.
“As a new Radio station, this is Good news for us as a team and this shows that we are heading for the better. I am confident that we will win in all the categories in which we are nominated,” said Charles Ogen, the Programs director of Juice FM.
Juice FM’s Saturday Jam is hosted by Sitta Galabuzi while the Afternoon Beat is hosted by Arthur Bantu.
Radio and Television Award ceremony will be held on a yet to be scheduled date come may 2014 and in the same month the Radio and Television Academy will organize the Radio and Television festival and RTV Academy Awards Gala.
