Defending champions KCCA FC found the going tough Tuesday evening at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole, when they were held to a 2-2 draw by hosts SC Victoria University.

Cranes midfielder Dennis Iguma gave the home side the lead in the 26th minute before Ghadafi Kiwanuka equalised later in the 76th minute. But SC Victoria pinned KCCA FC in their half and netted a second goal in the 86th minute through Yasser Mugerwa.

Coach George Nsimbe’s team fought back like defending champions and equalised through Ronnie Kisekka. The draw pushed SC Victoria University to fourth place, while KCCA FC moved to seventh place on the log.

In the second game of the day hosts Entebbe FC beat bottom-placed CRO FC 3-2 at Wankulukuku Stadium. Godfrey Serubogo, Ibrahim Magala and Abraham Ndugga netted for Entebbe FC to push them to third place from the bottom.

SC Vipers still top the log with 40 points, while Uganda Revenue Authority FC are second with 39 points.
