URA, Kira Drop Points

FeniURA FC failed to overtake Vipers SC after they were held to a 1-1 draw at Kavumba by Police FC in the FUFA Super League this evening.

Augustine Nsumba, who was on target in another 1-1 draw against SC Villa on Friday, struck for the visitors but Andrew Basoma struck for the Cops. URA remain second on 41 points, two behind leaders Vipers, who have not been in action today. Police meanwhile remain ninth on the table with 30 points, a whopping five behind SC Villa in eighth but Villa has a massive two-games better.

Elsewhere, Kira Young came from a goal down to salvage a 1-1 draw against visiting Entebbe FC at Namboole. Kira are always solid at home but fell behind so early through Moses Sekasana’s early strike but had to wait until late to get an equaliser through Patrick Kaddu in the final moments of the game.

Entebbe have now leapfrogged Proline on better goal difference into the 13th place but with a game more while Kira are also third on better goals against Soana.
